OUR ministries

Lake has a diverse number of ministries where you can grow in your faith, reach out to our local community, and even serve around the world.

Our LIFE Groups seek spiritual growth and encourgament in faith. They focus on such things as Bible study, family life issues, men’s & women’s issues, children, and connecting with God in daily life.

We also have a number of other ministry groups and activities which include service opportunities, outreach, and fellowship throughout the year. Many are for both adults and kids.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Our Mission:

“To show every child the love of Jesus, to teach every child the Word of God, to help every child grow in Christ, to provide a safe environment for every child to learn.”

Our Goals:

We’ve been blessed with many children at LACC and it is our desire to “train them in the way they should go” Proverbs 22:6. Our volunteers count it a privilege to serve our kids and show them the love of Jesus You do not need to be a professional teacher, nurse or childcare giver. All you need is a love of Jesus and a heart to share that love with the children of LACC. The Children’s Ministry is a team effort because it takes many hearts and hands to raise a child. Will you come and be a part of “training up our children in the way they should go”? Our Children’s Ministry strives to OVERFLOW into the lives of those attending LACC, the surrounding community, and beyond by teaching our kids to serve & connect.

Our Hope:

To show every child the love of Jesus.

To teach every child the Word of God.

To help every child grow in Christ.

To provide a safe environment for your child to learn.

WORSHIP MINISTRY

Worship has always been something that we value highly. We believe that opening our hearts to God in praise is both personal and corporate. That's why we gather together for worship weekly and encourage people to seek God on a personal level. In this way, our worship gatherings set the stage for about everything we do. It's through worshipping together that our lives are shaped by the Spirit of God.

Our goal at LACC is that our worship lwill not only build up our faith and deepen our love for God, but that the spiritual connection between us as community and God will be strengthened. We believe that it through our worship that the Holy Spirit moves us into greater relationship with Him. Because of this we embrace worship with great joy and expectation. Our Sunday worship times don't have any formal structure, but our goal is to integrate excellent music, songs of praise, and Spirit-led teaching to cultivate a space where we can be truly open to God.

WORSHIP TIMES:
Sundays: 9:30 and 11:00

LIFE GROUPS

life

The point of LIFE Groups are growing in faith, friendship, and LIFE.  They are about living in the Spirit and growing in God. At timesLIFE Groups meet for certain studies, at other times we might gather just to share life together. We're always looking for new faces.

STUDENT MINISTRIES

Mission Statement:

“The mission for the youth ministry of LACC is to train and equip a body of youth to become more like Christ in biblical knowledge and truth, in servitude, and in spiritual depth”

Goals:

My prayer is that we continue to become a place where youth are growing and transforming in Christ. The youth need you. Despite great attempts to seem disinterested in their elders’ wisdom, the youth are listening and you could make an impact in their lives. “Youth is, after all, just a moment, but it is the moment, the spark, that you always carry in your heart.” - Raisa M. To ensure that the youth ministry reaches its full potential, an elder, Duane Miller, has also been assigned to this ministry. Please feel free to ask him any questions or make concerns known
